We just got back from a four day family vacation. On a whim we decided to get out of town and went to Berchtesgaden, Germany. This pic was taken on our tour of the salt mine SalzZeitReise (www.salzzeitreise.de). I would have to say the best part of the tour was getting to go down two of these slides. We also went to Konigssee, saw Eagles Nest from the distance, spent the afternoon in Salzburg, Austria and toured Mozart’s house and walked through Nonnberg Abby – one of the scenes from the movie the Sound of Music. oh, and when i was a kid we did the salt mines.. do the slides still burn your rear when you go down them??
