and another day

no news!! if I knew everyone that reads this would know to about the board results. LOL.

my boy is 8!!!

I say it every year, 'I can hardly believe it'! seriously has it been 8 yrs already. well the boy surprised me and did not want spaghetti for his meal, his all time favorite, I think he could eat it everyday. but when I went to eat lunch with him at school, we had spaghetti and chocolate milk was a must. he chose chicken nuggets... and we had a cake and cupcakes with dinosaurs. and he took cookies to school, yes I cheated and bought the cookies but made them special.

I think this is the longest week of my life!!! One day and a wake up (hopefully) and I will have some news.

after school on the walk home from the bus stop the boys stopped to pic some flowers for me. I tried to talk them out of it by saying 'aren't those really weeds?' of course Brice answered my question in his of course not duh voice 'no'. so I left them there and went to the house. when they arrived both proudly showing me the bouquets they had for me and looking for something to put them in water. Brice announces they picked these for me because they did not get me any for my birthday. my sweet boys.

my Birthday

yes another year, 37!! had a very nice relaxing day with the family, my favorite german strawberry cake (the same as last year if you want the visual) and the 4 of us ate it all, yes in one sitting. lol.

Spring Break has come to an end

it turned into a great week, the boys and I did not do a lot of stuff. mostly relaxing. heck some days I could not talk them out of their pajamas. lol. they played outside and enjoyed our beautiful weather. I have only a few funnies to share. Brice was showering one night and I noticed he had a black eye, after telling me what happened I told him, I was telling everyone he got beat up by a girl and he was mad at me and said I needed to tell the truth. so here it is. Brice was dumpster diving trying to get something that belonged to his friend and the lid hit him on the head. As for Trent his two teeth his brother pulled out way back in August are finally coming in. lol.

ugh the day I have waited for

so today is the BIG day. the AF board meets. going to try and keep myself busy, it is a good thing the boys are home. of course I get an email last night from my recruiter needing one more thing, geez. but it is not a deal breaker. I don't know how long it will take the board to publish the results. I am thinking 1 to 2 weeks. I did let my recruiter know that if it is bad news he CAN NOT tell me on my bday. but if it is good news then yes he can tell me. lol. I just want to add, thank you for everyone's positive encouragement, it means a lot to me.
